Our thanks for your interest in distributing one or more of our software products.
We look forward with real anticipation to working with you.
As we begin our discussion of what is required to become a distributor for us, we hope you’ve had a chance to review this Web site, as it will become yours. Once we conclude a distributor agreement with you, we will "clone" our site for you by setting up a unique Web site address for you. When your potential customers go to the "cloned site," they will find a duplicate of this site, but with your contact information; i.e., address, phone, fax, E Mail etc. instead of ours. That way, no potential customer of yours will be going to us direct to order.
I am very pleased to inform you that we now have complete, narrated, video CD demos of all of our software products. These video CDs, using a full working version of the software product they cover, demonstrate every feature of each product and also include a file containing the core reports produced by the software, which can be printed for a "hands on" review. In addition to the full demo, each CD contains an index which allows a user to select specific features of the software to view. As a distributor, these demo CDS will be provided to you for your own use and to dispense to potential customers—you will find them a very powerful sales tool
These video demos can be viewed on our Web site, but if you would like us to send you a demo or demos on CD, please just E Mail us back and let us know which CD you would like. Please do be sure to include the address to which you would like the CD sent. We will send the CD or CDs to you the same day we receive your request.
As a distributor for EZ Maintenance, you will receive a significant discount from the retail selling price of $1,795.00. You will also receive a percentage of additional user licenses purchased by your customers (additional licenses sell for $150.00 each), as well as a percentage of the purchase price of any export add on (such as the export to QuickBooks add on for Job Master which sells for $750.00). You will also receive a percentage of the purchase price of any tech support package (tech support packages sell for $300.00 and $500.00) and a percentage of the purchase price of our optional, yearly maintenance package (which sells for $500.00). Unless you wish it otherwise, we will provide all tech support from here, which leaves you free to simply sell the software and add ons, and move on to the next sale without having to worry about the after-the-sale support.
We are most interested in establishing protected, exclusive distributorships in either geographic or market niche areas. Once we have established an exclusive distributorship, all leads for software sales in that area (or new requests for distributorships or rep agreements) are referred to the exclusive distributor for action.
We do require a pre-purchase of software inventory at the time of signing of the Distributor Agreement. We do this for two reasons: one is to find those who are serious about making a commitment, and the second is to recognize the substantial investment we will make in your training and ongoing support. That being said, our primary goal is to get you started. Our experience has been that we have been able in virtually every instance to work out a pre-buy amount with distributors that matches their budget and goals for an exclusive distributorship of our software in their geographic area or designated market niche.
A couple of other things which may be important as you consider this: if it is appropriate, we will private label our software for you, or one of your customers. Under our exclusive Distributorship, we will not only protect your market area, but if you have a market with unique needs (or if you have a customer with such needs) we will modify our software to meet those needs at no charge (we can do such modification only if there is a sufficient order of software to justify such special modification, so we need to discuss such modification on a case by case basis). We will provide training and ongoing support for all distributors at no charge. Your exclusive Distributorship also gives you the right to sign up "sub distributors" to sell our software on your behalf.
